August 2024 on the GR20 trail in Corsica.
We stop after a hard morning of walking in the heart of this magnificent island that is Corsica.
She is taking a nap, a suspended moment.
With this painting, I wanted to capture this simple moment and above all tell this scene that I found poetic: The tree, this particular species of Corsican oak was incredible, its foliage seemed to dialogue with the sky, the greens of the hills around were in symbiosis… with the rest because in harmony of tones.
It seemed to me that I had entered his dream.
