About this artwork
I did not paint this one with answers. I painted it in the middle of questions, while I was still working out what my art was trying to say. That is exactly why it has stayed one of the truest works I have ever made.
She carries the energy of the untamed. A stillness that hums. Inspired by the northern lights and the ancient quiet of reindeer moving through untouched landscape, this painting holds an atmosphere that does not explain itself. It invites… you to feel something you may not have language for.
Songs of the Wild belongs to the Limitless Women universe as a painting about the freedom that lives in uncertainty. The woman who is still searching. Who has not arrived yet and has made her peace with that. Who knows that stepping into the unknown is not failure but courage.

Geethu Chandramohan is a contemporary mixed-media portrait artist and aerospace engineer based in Hertfordshire, UK. Her work explores the many identities women carry through a single life. Working with layered acrylics, oils, spray paint, and textured mediums, she builds surfaces where structural precision meets expressive freedom. Her block-like colour planes reflect her engineering background, while flowing marks and vibrant colour represent the intuitive world of painting.
