Some paintings come from a plan. This one came from a pulse. A shift in the studio that I did not expect and could not have engineered, the kind that arrives when you stop trying to make something happen and simply let it.
She is the moment just before a woman speaks her truth. The breath before transformation. There is something in her stillness that is not passive at all. It is the concentrated calm of someone who has already decided.
Emberbee… belongs to the Limitless Women universe, exploring the many identities women carry within a single life. She represents the moment of becoming, that long threshold between who you were and who you are stepping into. Most of us spend more time on that threshold than we admit. This painting is for that time.
The warm oranges sit beside soft ivory without competing. The lilies carry meaning here not as decoration but as a reminder that growth rarely arrives loudly.

Geethu Chandramohan is a contemporary mixed-media portrait artist and aerospace engineer based in Hertfordshire, UK. Her work explores the many identities women carry through a single life.
