About this artwork
This is not a gentle painting. It was never meant to be. It was created for a specific feeling, the surge that arrives when something deep inside you finally decides it is done waiting.
The tiger is not a symbol placed here for effect. It is a mirror for that exact internal moment when your silence becomes a roar. When you stop holding yourself back and let your full power take up the room it was always owed. The colours around her, fiery reds,… stormy blacks, sudden bursts of light, carry the energy of that release. Raw and immediate and entirely necessary.
This painting is not about being fearless. Fearlessness is often just numbness wearing a confident expression. This is about being full. So full of truth and feeling that the only honest thing left is to let it out, loudly, completely, without apology.
For the collector who has held a storm inside and knows exactly what it felt like when it finally moved.
Geethu Chandramohan is a contemporary mixed-media portrait artist and aerospace engineer based in Hertfordshire, UK. Her work explores the many identities women carry through a single life. Working with layered acrylics, oils, spray paint, and textured mediums, she builds surfaces where structural precision meets expressive freedom. Her block-like colour planes reflect her engineering background, while flowing marks and vibrant colour represent the intuitive world of painting. Many of her portraits feature closed eyes, a signature motif signalling inward reflection rather than outward performance. All her work lives within the Limitless Women universe, exploring womanhood through five emotional pillars: becoming, inner strength, freedom, creation, and radiance. Her paintings speak to collectors drawn to art with emotional depth and a visual language they will not find anywhere else.
