About this artwork
Another self-portrait with "gay wool." A painting about transformation and hope. "Rainbow Wool" was created as part of the Rainbow Wool Project, an LGBTIQ charity project. I am proud to be the first artist to use this unique material. The painting is a self-portrait that addresses the challenges faced by queer people, especially in Iran. It processes my personal inner struggle and journey to self-acceptance.
