About this artwork
Acrylic on cradled basswood panel, set in a basswood frame
This is the final available painting in the Conversations series, a body of work inspired by the subtle exchanges that occur between forms, shapes, and space. The painting earned its name from this sense of communication. Each shape appears engaged in an ongoing dialogue—some clustered together, others standing apart—suggesting relationships, movement, and the quiet rhythm of interaction.… The composition invites the viewer to imagine these exchanges and discover their own narratives within the work.
Balancing spontaneity with careful structure, Conversations #4 combines a fresh contemporary palette with an engaging abstract vocabulary. Framed in natural basswood, the piece brings warmth, energy, and curiosity to any room.
