I'm hoping that this acrylic on birch wood panel piece finds someone to love it as much as I do. My personal attraction is its breathing space. When there's space like this in a painting, every shape, every line has purpose. For that reason, it earned its name. I feel like slowing down, taking a deep breath and just "being" when I look at this abstract..
In the realm of abstract painting, achieving this kind of simplicity requires a big of courage… to let go and trust in the power of minimalism. This is something I've been working on, and it's showing up more and more in every piece I’m creating now.
« Beautiful art comes from inspiration. Inspiration comes from being present, from feeling alive. That's what art is for. »
