About this artwork
I generally refer to this body of sculptures as Living Paintings. They are acrylic (paint) constructs, dimensional manifestations of my paintings, evolved my quest for surface and textural satiation. In this body of work each sculpture references historical figures or historical cultures with a bit of modern influence. The dimensions are estimated as each work is odd sized. Each comes with a small stand. THIS ARTWORK IS SOLD.

Jon Parlangeli is a passionate American painter and sculptor who has widely exhibited his work throughout the U.S. Fascinated by the process of creation, he composes works that experiment with color and the physicality of paint.
