About this artwork
On the hiking trail above the Lombardy shore of Lake Maggiore (Italy), a swallowtail butterfly surprised us. Inspiration enough to include it in the scene.
As light as it is, it becomes transparent, allowing the mountain slopes and lake to pass through it.
We fly with him to the right over the Castelli di Cannero and soar over the blue of the lake with its bordering purple mountains.
A dreamlike experience like a meditation... As we float, we… become one with divine nature.
