Garden – Winter is a symbolic psychological landscape — a meeting between innocence and shadow, dwelling on the cold of not belonging. At the periphery of the image, a delicate cherub figure hovers almost unnoticed: a guardian of the honest nature of the self, protecting the fragile inner garden — a personal “Eden” of safety, memory, and inner world.
This print is not merely image — it is emotion carved into form. The act of printing was, for me,… a moment of uncertainty: I pressed, unsure whether I’d bring light or darkness into the physical world. The making felt necessary. By creating this piece, I gave tribute to the whispers of my subconscious. I needed to see the image on paper in order to fully grasp its meaning.
Garden – Winter is an invitation — for those whose inner landscape has lingered in winter longer than the passing seasons.
