This photograph shows a dilapidated, asphalted section of road. The thermal forces of nature, such as rain, heat and cold, have also influenced the feel of the surface here. Vertical, straight lines, which are clearly of a technical nature, are complemented by chaotic-looking cracks and fissures. They give the tar surface shown a devastated look.
