On a cool February morning, we left Key West for a long boat ride to the Marquesas Keys. A thick fog covered the water — something I had rarely seen in the Keys.
As the fog slowly lifted, this beautiful Atlantic Tarpon surfaced nearby, briefly lifting its head above the water. The moment revealed remarkable detail in the fish’s powerful features as it broke the surface, fully aware of its surroundings and my presence. A quiet and memorable moment… on the water.
