I have yet to find waters as clear and captivating as those in the Exumas of the Bahamas. On a perfect day, I came upon this remarkable stretch of sand and sea, where the colors seemed almost unreal in their clarity.
Standing there, I remember thinking this must be what Heaven looks like. The sandbar extended like a quiet pathway through the water, and it felt as though if you simply followed it far enough, that’s exactly where you would arrive.
