While passing through the eastern waters of the Bahamas, we were fortunate to come across a beautiful school of porpoises. They were among the friendliest I have ever encountered in the wild, swimming close with a natural curiosity about our presence.
These remarkable animals are powerful, intelligent, and highly social — qualities that often make their behavior feel almost human. This image was completely unplanned, yet it became one of the most… pleasant and memorable surprises of the journey.
