Through these lines, an ascent is proposed to us. Risk-taking too, as was the realization of this sculpture.
Like life, the lines sometimes break but the path continues. Inexorably. This piece with its fine lines exudes strength… and agility. For the artist, the search for verticality is that of a dynamic. The dynamics of a tree that seeks light throws its branches upwards.
According to the light or the lighting, SEQUENCE projects its shadows on the neighboring walls, giving its presence its full dimension.
This sculpture was made in a piece of solid cherry wood and then calcined. It is presented on a simple 20 x 20 cm steel base.
