About this artwork
Rare Beavers – Nature in Motion
In "Rare Beavers" (oil on canvas, 30x40 cm, 2022), the motif emerges from a lively interplay of earthy ochre, soft green and cool blue tones. The beaver seems to intertwine with its surroundings - not through sharp lines, but through flowing transitions and dynamic color structures.
I love it when forms are not immediately tangible, but emerge in the eye of the beholder. The beaver emerges from the painting, sometimes… present, sometimes hidden, as if it were part of the water, the earth, the light. The visible artist's palette, which blends into the work, is reminiscent of the creative process itself - the spontaneity, the experiment, the moment of creation.
This work is an invitation to see nature not only as an image, but as an experience of movement, dissolution of form and sound of color - a fleeting moment captured in color.
