About this artwork
I have recently reworked Kooky Boy, and feel that he is ready to spread some humour and light ,in this bad old world.
This is my vision of of a misfit, a portrait of a Kooky Boy, whom I got to know during my time in Scotland, a fine painter and rebel, full of life and energy,
I was captivated by his positive nature, his ignorance to anything other than himself, and his self destruction that I had to create this work, I began it in the late 90s,… first making a clay model, then cast in a hard resin, Then I left it for many years until I met him again giving me my opportunity to finally complete my kooky boy,,, with a mixture of color and reflection of light,,
all these works are an addition of 1.
