About this artwork
In 2024 I started a series of nature paintings focusing on light in the dark. This later became a series called Mysterious Forests.
I had a canvas measuring 80 x 50 cm, and I found this somewhat unusual format really interesting to work with.
The light has captured the beautiful shapes and colors of the tree trunk, and the slender blades of grass are a wonderful contrast to the solid trunk.
