About this artwork
In my artwork, I chose to express the inner and outer beauty of the human spirit through bronze. This sculpture, created in vibrant colors and dynamic forms, embodies elegance, movement, and emotion. Every line and angle reflects a story of resilience and grace. With this sculpture, I hope to create an atmosphere of inspiration and contemplative power in any space.
Dance represents lightness, freedom, and the joy of life. When two people connect… intimately in dance, their souls touch and they can float into their own spheres. It doesn't matter whether the dance is a tango or a simple slide.

The path of German painter and sculptor Stefanie von Quast led from studies in painting and graphic design to training in sculpture and bronze casting. She utilizes a variety of techniques and materials to seamlessly transition between painting and sculpture, with particular attention to color, drawing, and surface texture. The focus is on the human being from a unique, positive perspective. Body language and posture intuitively reflect the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.
For several years now, she has been painting using mixed media on thin stone slabs, blending the stone's natural grain with the painting. This represents a further step toward merging painting and sculpture. In her sculptures, special techniques create a harmonious blend of stone and bronze.
She has been working as a freelance artist for over 30 years, with regular exhibitions, art fairs and numerous commissions.
