About this artwork
"Call Me Home" (German title) explores protection, connection, and healing as an open-ended state. Two human figures exist on different planes, yet appear connected. Their relationship remains deliberately ambiguous, leaving room for individual interpretation.
The figure on the right appears to be turning towards the seated figure on the left. Whether this signifies touch, closeness, or reserve remains open to interpretation. This ambiguity alludes… to processes such as trust, tranquility, and mutual protection, without defining them.
The figures can be interpreted as two individuals or as inner aspects of a person. The surrounding space feels like an inner home: a protected place where healing is possible without being forced. Each viewer brings their own experiences to the table and expands the meaning of the work.

As Uomo Nero, Christoph Czarnetzke creates a mysterious fusion of archaic ritual and introspective self-exploration through painting and sculpture.
