At first glance, a single figure appears — but within it, several levels of presence unfold.
A form reaches for its own head, as if trying to grasp thought itself.
Another turns away, already drawn to a different direction — a different becoming.
Each element carries its own intention, its own movement, its own truth —
and yet remains part of the same organism.
"Woven Mind"… reflects the multifaceted nature of identity:
a network of internal forces that are simultaneously in harmony and in tension.
Defense and openness often coexist —

As Uomo Nero, Christoph Czarnetzke creates a mysterious fusion of archaic ritual and introspective self-exploration through painting and sculpture. His radically reduced one-line technique, using exclusively black on white, evokes states of mind in a single, irrevocable stroke, transforming sketches into canvases or sculptures.
