About this artwork
My style here is contemporary and figurative with a strong symbolic and expressive dimension. I emphasized the emotional intensity of the main subject, through the direct gaze and vibrant colors. I layered various elements to symbolize the complexity of identity, inner thoughts, memories, and overlapping emotions. I created an impression of mystery and vulnerability with a hidden strength.
In this figurative work I did not want to make a simple… representation, but an exploration of the interiority of the subject. I wanted to express the story of the multiple facets of a person, of their experiences. It is an invitation to look beyond the surface, to perceive the layers of meaning and emotion that constitute a being.
I don't tell a simple narrative story, but I explore moods and concepts. I tell the multiplicity of facets of an individual, invite us to look beyond the surface, to see the essence of being.
