About this artwork
This painting is part of a small series of winterlandscapes. It represents a snowy landscape, ready for a visual winter walk. Your eyes can wander through and bring you to a place where you are at home and find your comfort. I painted and drew in it, scratched, removed and rebuilt. Underneath this painting are a lot of layers, which shine through the whites and colors, and give it a beautiful depth. A combination of painting and drawing expresses…
my style the most, therefore Wintergarden Walk was made in acrylic and drawn with pencils. The materials are playfully but harmoniously combined and elaborated into this semi-abstract landscape. The painting is protected by a top layer of varnish.

« I like to play with reality, colors, light, shapes, movements, and transform images. They might appear a little distorted, even if realistic, but I always search for harmony. »
Bea Evers is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Italy. While the themes in her works have changed throughout the years, her current pieces are primarily semi-abstract landscapes. Evers describes her art as an invitation to the viewer to feel a sense of spaciousness, while also "giving the eye something to search for". She most often creates using acrylics and charcoal on wood or canvas.
