About this artwork
I situated this work at the crossroads of contemporary pointillism and an almost spiritual research on matter. It evokes the birth of a universal order from chaos. It reads both as a cartography of the infinitely large and as a dive into the infinitely small: galaxies and constellations, or tissues and cells. I wanted a vision where the architecture of space is similar to that of the living.
Geometric rigor blends with an impression of organic movement,… as if the work oscillates between construction and dissolution. Each point, a tiny colored cell, contributes to the overall structure, suggesting that the universe is composed of countless particles in perpetual interaction.

FLOD, a French painter and sculptor based in Spain, works mainly in painting using dot art, spirals and gold; she draws on a self-taught background and studies at the Beaux-Arts in Avignon. Her technique lies between the abstract and the figurative, she gives herself entirely to this indefinite sphere which requires both poetry and mastery of technique. She favors a symbolic, unreal and poetic approach; each work, singular, honors the magic of colors and the generosity of the material. She infuses her art with dreams, escape, and a vibrant joy, deeply touching the soul of the spectator.
