I wanted to embody the vital force, the momentum of growth and transformation. We read a surge of energy, like a plant kundalini, a breath that connects the roots to the light. The multicolored petals that spring forth symbolize the diversity of the soul, the inner richness. Each color is a facet of the being, turquoise for clarity, purple for spirituality, orange for creativity, green for balance. The small yellow and colored bells evoke protective… energies that surround the plant, like seeds of light, ready to hatch, reminding us that growth is never solitary but nourished by invisible forces. The spirals are the eternal cycle of birth, death, rebirth. They remind us that nothing is fixed, that everything returns, but always transformed. The colored center at the top is the cosmic matrix, a spiritual source where all forms and all lives mingle.
FLOD, a French painter and sculptor based in Spain, works mainly in painting using dot art, spirals and gold; she draws on a self-taught background and studies at the Beaux-Arts in Avignon. Her technique lies between the abstract and the figurative, she gives herself entirely to this indefinite sphere which requires both poetry and mastery of technique. She favors a symbolic, unreal and poetic approach; each work, singular, honors the magic of colors and the generosity of the material. She infuses her art with dreams, escape, and a vibrant joy, deeply touching the soul of the spectator.
