About this artwork
In 2024 I started a series of nature paintings focusing on light in the dark. This then became a series called Mystical Forests.
I like to work with contrasts in my paintings - shapes, colors, etc., and currently the focus is on light in the dark.
I started this small painting by painting the canvas completely black, and as something relatively new for me, I then used spray paint together with regular acrylic.
It is early morning in the forest.… The light breaks through the trees, and a peaceful, almost mystical space is created, a sanctuary where the quiet power of nature invites you to stop and breathe deeply.
I like to work with contrasts in my paintings - shapes, colors, etc., and currently the focus is on light in the dark.
