About this artwork
This picture shows a catamaran landing on the beach. The boat is reflected in the waves and in the shallow water on the beach. Painting these waves with reflection in oil was a nice challenge for me as a painter. The front wave with the spray was particularly fun. This oil painting is painted in two layers on wood. I primed the wood myself. The grain of the wood is still visible under the paint.
It is a fine, fresh image for all who love the sea… and sailing!
