Meet art world expert and our special guest curator: Naomi Rubin, independent art advisor and art project manager. She was invited to create a selection of some of her favorite works on Singulart.
About Naomi
Naomi is a Paris-based art project manager, involved in various roles. Former director of Galerie Eric Dupont, a leading Parisian gallery, she has also held important positions at Galerie Gerard Levy and Paris Gallery Weekend. She has a strong commitment to contemporary artists and leads diverse art projects, such has Not So Crazy Girls, an event involving 15 international women artists. Naomi has been instrumental in curating exhibitions and fostering artist representation—her expertise lies in curation, gallery management, and artistic collaboration.
Naomi explains how she curated this collection:
"I selected artworks that stirred emotion in me in a sensitive, immediate way. I am deeply attached to gesture, palette, and the use of color across all mediums in which they appear. I was also amazed by the technical mastery present in some pieces. As a former art history student, the centrality of various art movements—and the legacy of art history, especially in painting—is a key aspect of my selection. I’m always fascinated by visual references that make one piece feel so distinct from another. Artists must continue to create and reinvent art."
