Florence Ehrlich-Haimet is a self-taught painter working mainly with wax-based coloured pencils on polyester film, drawing from a transformative studio experience in the USA and insights gained living in Japan. She merges figuration with abstraction, layering luminous colours and textures to balance close observation with expressive, graphic forms, especially fascinated by reflections and boundaries between the natural and human-made.
