Florence Ehrlich-Haimet is a self-taught painter who works primarily with wax-based colored pencils on polyester film. Her work is inspired by a formative studio experience in the United States and a stay in Japan. She merges figuration and abstraction, layering luminous colors and textures to achieve a balance between meticulous observation and expressive graphic forms.
