About this artwork
This work explores the forms, rhythm, and complexity of tropical foliage through a more graphic and abstract approach. Inspired by the characteristic shapes of Monstera leaves, I moved away from a purely naturalistic representation to play with layering, contrasts, and variations in color.
The leaves remain recognizable, but gradually transform into a composition of organic shapes, lines, and fragments. The blues and greens create a dialogue between… the natural subject and a more structured visual language.
