About this artwork
Thousand Ways to Shine emerged from thousands of individual drops of paint, each one placed intuitively across the canvas before gradually coming together to form a luminous woodland filled with colour, light and depth. What begins as a collection of separate marks transforms into a vibrant forest scene, reminding us how something extraordinary can grow from many small elements working in harmony.
Golden sunlight filters through the trees, setting… the woodland aglow and illuminating a canopy of radiant leaves. Layers of warm ochres, earthy browns and glowing golds are interwoven with unexpected flashes of turquoise, cobalt and magenta, creating a rich tapestry of colour and movement. Dark tree trunks weave through the composition, providing strength and structure while allowing the brilliance of the surrounding colours to shine.
Created using my signature technique of dripped and thrown paint, this large scale artwork is a celebration of light and joy.
