About this artwork
In my watercolor "Veal of Night," I explore the magical moment when day turns into night and the landscape is bathed in a mysterious twilight. The warm glow of the setting sun meets the cool blues and grays of the water and forests—a serene atmosphere that never fails to deeply move me.
With the transparency of the watercolor, I tried to make this oscillation between light and dark, clarity and mist, visible. The soft gradients and reflections… create a meditative depth, while subtle accents provide structure and orientation.
“Veal of Night” is, for me, a work about the magic of transition – about that rare moment when time and space seem to stand still. It invites art lovers and collectors to experience the tranquility, resonance, and poetic power of nature and to bring this special atmospheric force into their own spaces.
