About this artwork
A figure from behind. The city below, lit up — red, orange, violet, gold. She watches. Still at the edge. The pixel pittorico, my language — fragments of colour applied with a palette knife, breaking down and recomposing the image — builds a silent tension between the motionless body and the city in movement. Up close, pure matter, colour that burns. Stepping back, a person and a city measuring each other. What does she see? What is she waiting for?…
The answer stays in the body — in the posture, in the direction of the gaze, in the white that separates her from the luminous chaos around her. The city transforms whoever looks at it. And whoever looks at it transforms the city.

« In a time when superficial glances seem incapable of perceiving the nuances of life, I try to synthesize a thousand tensions of my feelings and those of the world. »
I am an Italian contemporary painter. Born in Southern Italy, I spent years moving through structures that did not represent me — economics degree, corporate work, even politics. Always searching for myself, and for freedom. At forty, painting emerged as a necessity, the place where the search for myself became a pictorial one. My language is the pictorial pixel — fragments of color applied with a palette knife, breaking down and recomposing images. Up close, the works appear abstract. Stepping back, figures, faces, and urban landscapes reveal themselves — unfolding connections and possibilities. Exhibited nationally and internationally, my works are held in private collections in Europe and the United States, and include a cover of musician Alphonso Johnson's album.
In a time that accelerates, simplifies, divides, and flattens, my art offers a space where complexity is value, fragment possibility, and sharing completion. A space where anyone can feel welcomed for who they are.
