The city does not appear as a map or a skyline. It appears as a feeling.
With the pixel pittorico — fragments of colour applied with a palette knife, violet, magenta, pink, red, yellow — I build a luminous heart that pulses at the centre of the canvas.
Up close, pure colour and texture. Stepping back, a night cityscape seen through emotion rather than through the eye.
Heartcity. The… title is already the work. The city has a heart — or perhaps the heart has become a city.
The figure watches from the dark. Already inside it, without moving.

« In a time when superficial glances seem incapable of perceiving the nuances of life, I try to synthesize a thousand tensions of my feelings and those of the world. »
I am an Italian contemporary painter. Born in Southern Italy, I spent years moving through structures that did not represent me — economics degree, corporate work, even politics. Always searching for myself, and for freedom. At forty, painting emerged as a necessity, the place where the search for myself became a pictorial one. My language is the pictorial pixel — fragments of color applied with a palette knife, breaking down and recomposing images. Up close, the works appear abstract. Stepping back, figures, faces, and urban landscapes reveal themselves — unfolding connections and possibilities. Exhibited nationally and internationally, my works are held in private collections in Europe and the United States, and include a cover of musician Alphonso Johnson's album.
In a time that accelerates, simplifies, divides, and flattens, my art offers a space where complexity is value, fragment possibility, and sharing completion. A space where anyone can feel welcomed for who they are.
