Energy, freedom, joy. Even inside a crowded city. Especially inside a crowded city.
A street. A crowd. A movement that never stops.
With the pixel pittorico — fragments of colour applied with a palette knife, blue, red, white, orange — I break down and recompose bodies in transit, light reflected on the pavement, the city as pure energy.
Up close: chromatic tensions overlapping, structure without resolution. Step back — and an urban scene emerges,… alive and pulsing.
Everyone moves. Everyone is headed somewhere.
She runs toward us — free, and laughing. Not despite the flow. Inside the flow.
Within the fragments, each one moves. Each one carries something. Together, they form something none of them could be alone.

I am an Italian contemporary painter. Born in Southern Italy, I spent years moving through structures that did not represent me — economics degree, corporate work, even politics. Always searching for myself, and for freedom. At forty, painting emerged as a necessity, the place where the search for myself became a pictorial one. My language is the pictorial pixel — fragments of color applied with a palette knife, breaking down and recomposing images. Up close, the works appear abstract. Stepping back, figures, faces, and urban landscapes reveal themselves — unfolding connections and possibilities. Exhibited nationally and internationally, my works are held in private collections in Europe and the United States, and include a cover of musician Alphonso Johnson's album.
