About this artwork
This sculpture has had a previous life. The horse originally came from a film production. Instead of letting it be forgotten, I transformed it and gave it a new existence.
During this process, the work began to change – as if its own story were slowly unfolding. An anatomical heart appears inside the body: visible, vulnerable, and yet full of power.
The broken area is accentuated with golden pigments. The gold symbolizes the strength of the soul… and transformation – the idea that even fractures can become places of growth and new meaning.
For the surface, I used patina pigments, gold pigments, and texture paste to create an aged, almost archaeological materiality.
