Who hasn't hesitated before a threshold, at that moment when everything can change?
I paint choice. That decisive moment when everything changes and which belongs to us. To choose is to grow.
A child, seen from behind, suspended between shadow and light. Through superimpositions of thin layers, where the pigment blends into the binder, I create a soft, almost cottony texture, from which light seems to emerge. The contours dissolve, like a reality… fading before the future.
Light becomes a call. Shadow, what we leave behind.
