About this artwork
The artist finds a new material to experiment with for his works, the expanded foam. In construction common material, on the other hand it is used very little. The painter expresses in an abstract key some gray colored foam filaments which, thanks to the expansion, create very interesting full-voids, where the eye tell us observes is lost.

Gregorio Codagnone is a painter and sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally. Passionate about art in all its forms, he is inspired by architecture and the materials that "make up things". Codagnone's current sculptural pieces explore the concept of composition and decomposition, nature returning to nature. However, in his pictorial works, he integrates sensations and emotions that bind internal areas that are fragmented and distant from each other.
