About this artwork
During the Covid days when travel was restricted I found inspiration for my photography in the bark of birch trees growing near my home.
The way the bark curls and forms unusual shapes was of great interest, and some of the trees had gorgeous colours in the bark.
This image is presented as an acrylic and works very well, with the 'pop' of colour that acrylics seem to cause. The colours are all there in nature however and none have been added.
The… image could also be presented as a larger acrylic or as a traditional paper print, or on other materials on request.
