About this artwork
The precisely glued veneers form a vertical composition, the elements of which taper to different lengths towards the bottom. This creates a dynamic, flowing form that expresses movement and change.
The series of works entitled "human flow" takes up the idea of "Panta rhei" by the Greek… philosopher Heraclitus: everything is in flux, nothing remains as it is. The sculpture translates this principle into an organic formal language and makes the dynamics of life visible.
The brushed, natural surface highlights the individual grain patterns and color nuances of the different woods. A rear mounting bracket allows for easy wall installation.

« I have always been fascinated by abstracting the human body in order to depict it in a simple and elegant form. »
He is particularly known for his minimalist approach, in which he reduces forms to their essential elements.
Hellweger's work embodies the idea that nothing is permanent; everything evolves and changes. Each of his sculptures reflects a deep engagement with the materials and themes he explores.
Despite their simplicity, his works are deeply expressive and, by reducing them to the essentials, offer a metaphor for mindfulness and contentment.
