About this artwork
Tree Flow II combines traditional materials with contemporary object art. The solid frame is made from repurposed haystacks from the Arlberg region (Tyrol), whose natural patina and traces of use preserve the history of agricultural craftsmanship. Each piece of wood is unique and lends the work an authentic, vibrant texture.
At the center, an organically shaped recess opens up, in which stylized conifers rise from hand-welded nails. The delicate… metal structures create a unique sense of depth through the interplay of light and shadow, forming a striking contrast to the warm glow of the weathered wood. A matte clear coat protects the metal surface and underscores the high-quality craftsmanship.
