About this artwork
For presentation, the sculpture is framed in a high-quality frame made of solid, finely sanded, and natural maple wood. The open frame without a back panel allows the figures to appear free in the room… and creates a constantly changing visual effect depending on the background and lighting.
The steel surface was sealed with matte clear lacquer to permanently protect it from oxidation.
The work combines the raw aesthetics of industrial materials with a minimalist, contemporary design language, thus becoming an extraordinary eye-catcher with impressive spatial depth.
Sculpture height: 21 cm, 30 cm and 34 cm
Frame dimensions: 48.9 × 48.9 × 9.7 cm

« I have always been fascinated by abstracting the human body in order to depict it in a simple and elegant form. »
He is particularly known for his minimalist approach, in which he reduces forms to their essential elements.
Hellweger's work embodies the idea that nothing is permanent; everything evolves and changes. Each of his sculptures reflects a deep engagement with the materials and themes he explores.
Despite their simplicity, his works are deeply expressive and, by reducing them to the essentials, offer a metaphor for mindfulness and contentment.
