About this artwork
human nails WALL II consists of many individual wire pins that are connected to each other by targeted welding points and thus combine to form an abstract, human shape.
To present the “human nails”, the artist used a high-quality frame made of solid, finely sanded and natural maple wood for the first time. The contrast between the dark wire pins and the light wood creates a special eye-catcher.
The frame does not have a background plate.
The… upper area of the sculpture was processed with different tools and the entire surface was sealed with matt clear varnish to prevent the steel from oxidizing.
