About this artwork
The slanting daylight cuts a wedge of shadow into the steps, modeling edges, ledges, and overlaps like a sequence… of clear volumes. Thus, the staircase becomes a stone setting—readable in lines and bars, not as a panorama, but as a close-up study of the surface.
I'm interested in the moment when architecture becomes sculpture: when material responds, the joint becomes notation, and the weight of the blocks carries a silent order. "Grimm Worlds" presents the staircase not as an entrance, but as a figure of light, stone, and rhythm—a brief grammar of the building.

He creates a poetic visual language interested in forms and structures, combining this with a modern, conceptual approach that claims social relevance. In his works, he explores inner and outer landscapes, conveying feelings of longing and threat, as well as a fascination with the hidden. He has published various art publications (most recently "World of Water," 2025), which are represented internationally in academy and museum libraries (including Vienna, Basel, Düsseldorf, and Berlin).
