About this artwork
The fern provides a counterpoint: a living syllable next to the massive grammar… of the stone. It makes the scale tangible and keeps the gaze at the edge of the opening, which is both threshold and invitation.
I'm interested in the balance between permanence and growth. The crevice becomes a figure, the rock a voice; not as a panorama, but as a close-up study of surface and space. Thus, the image shows how stone responds when you listen closely enough.

In his works, he explores inner and outer landscapes, conveying feelings of longing and threat, as well as a fascination with the hidden. He has published various art publications (most recently "World of Water," 2025), which are represented internationally in academy and museum libraries (including Vienna, Basel, Düsseldorf, and Berlin).
