In Marsfeld CLX I create an abstract landscape that is reminiscent of geological formations or sand structures with fine color lines and subtle textures. The horizontal lines are created by precisely applying crushed paint drops on a warm, earthy background consisting of fine color particles. This work combines minimalist aesthetics with an organic feel and invites the viewer to explore details and rhythms.
I work in a process of transformation:… old paint residues are crushed, sieved and rearranged to create a balance of order and chaos. The gentle wavy lines and the subtle color palette give the painting a meditative calm that makes it a unique eye-catcher in both large rooms and galleries.
