About this artwork
Field of Mars CXXVIII is a fascinating abstract painting (50 x 33 cm) that impresses with its organic texture and harmonious color palette. The finely layered paint residues create a sand-like surface that is reminiscent of natural patterns such as coastal landscapes or sedimentary layers.
The earthy tones give the work a calming base, while vibrant accents of blue, red and yellow add dynamism and energy. This artwork combines minimalist aesthetics… with an organic depth that invites the viewer to engage with the fine details and structures.
This painting, part of the Field of Mars series, embodies themes of transformation and sustainability. By using shredded paint scraps, I create a work that tells one of the many stories of change and renewal.
