In the theatrical opening of this sculpted frame, a violin appears suspended half-inside, half-outside. Adorned with cherubs and gilded roses, it no longer plays, but it tells of the flight of an ancient world—that of powdered salons and forgotten splendors.

I created this work as a threshold between two realities: that of the tangible and that of the dream, between… past and elevation. A suspended moment, where the object emancipates itself from its function to become passage, flight and metamorphosis.
