“WINTER” – silence and strength
With Winter, I wanted to represent a moment of pause, calm, and refocusing. It's a season when everything seems at a standstill, but many things are silently being prepared. Nature strips itself bare, withdraws, and this restraint interests me. The work speaks of introspection, inner strength, and a certain stripping away.
Created on a vintage legless mannequin, this work highlights a face frozen in an almost meditative… expression.
The hat, constructed from dry, frosted or bleached elements, recalls nature in its sleep.
The rotating base extends this atmosphere with a bare floor: bare branches, pine cones, traces of frost. “Winter” explores the sober beauty and quiet strength of the season, a time of withdrawal, waiting, and invisible transformation.
Messodie, self-taught, from the field of communication, today expresses his artistic soul through plastic art.
Fascinated by feminine curves and in love with 18th century fashion, her "mixed technique" combines the collage of fabrics and lace with painting, resins and gilding, in a reinterpreted baroque style.
She uses mannequin busts and violins that evoke the female body and transposes her baroque universe into it.
Each piece is a declaration of love for feminine materials and curves, an emotional celebration adorned with gilding, angels, lace, and precious fabrics.
