In quiet contemplation, I invite you to admire the majestic church of Santa María del Naranco, one of the finest examples of Asturian pre-Romanesque art. Bathed in a warm, enveloping light, the composition highlights the building's architectural forms, whose classical proportions and imposing side staircase seem to merge with the surrounding atmosphere of silence and spirituality.
Through watercolors in shades of gold, mauve, and purple, the artist… creates an almost mystical atmosphere, where the ancient stone seems to breathe and speak to the viewer. The tiny human figures in the foreground, silent witnesses to history, underscore the immensity of the monument and its symbolic weight as a temple of the soul and a refuge for introspection.
